Re:  KINVARA GAA – FULL ADULT MEMBERSHIP 2018

A Chara,

We are inviting you to become a FULL ADULT member of Kinvara GAA. Membership of the GAA can only be done through clubs, which are the grassroots of the organisation.

We all enjoyed the success of Galway senior hurlers last September – well, that success and hopefully more to follow would not be achieved without the club, and we are delighted to play our own part in that.

You may have been a member in previous years, or are a parent of a juvenile player, or have never been a member – we invite you all to join the GAA and Kinvara GAA Club. We hope that 2018 will be another exciting year for both for club and county.

Full membership of Kinvara GAA has the following benefits:

  1. Membership of the GAA itself.
  1. Eligibility for All -Ireland Tickets – the Galway County Board Bye-law states that only club members can apply for All-Ireland tickets. Our club will only facilitate club members in these circumstances.
  2. Use of facilities – if you are a member you are welcome to use our facilities – be it for jogging, running, or making a cup of tea during matches!
  3. Special Club discounts – an example here would be last year when we organised bus and ticket for Leinster Final and All-Ireland semi-final in Croke Park. Likewise our Social Inclusion Tour to Dublin. These were made available at a reduced prices.
Due to demand for these tickets/events, we will endeavour to look after our members requirements first.
  1. Voting Rights at club AGM or EGM.

Note: to be eligible for items 2 and 5 above, then membership must be paid on or before 31st March 2018.

For 2018, our Full Adult (non-playing) Membership rate is €30.

How to register?
This year we are trying to take all our Adult membership online via the new GAA App, available for itunes and android.
In order to activate and pay your membership, we ask you to first text Garret Byrne 087-9513442 or Paul O’Sullivan 086-3082523 with your name and address. They will then set up your initial details on the database. You will then get an “invite” text from CLG with link to download the GAA App and your Access Code. Simply login onto the GAAApp with your Access Code and membership can be paid. Simple!
Note:
We will also take manual membership, and that can be done through contacting myself Mick 087-2562774.
Is Mise le Meas,

Mick O’Hara
Club Secretary
